Currencies

ExchangeRate-API / ExchangeRate-Host — primary/secondary FX sources. Refreshed hourly.
Fixer.io — optional tertiary source (API key). Provider-dependent latency.

Macro

IMF DataMapper — inflation and GDP growth. Cached 24 hours.
World Bank Open Data — inflation and GDP per capita. Cached 24 hours.

Remittance

Fee percentages are fetched from World Bank indicator SI.RMT.COST.IB.ZS— the average transaction cost of sending remittances to each destination country (Remittance Prices Worldwide).

These are destination-country averages, not live quotes for a specific sender corridor (e.g. USA→Nigeria) or transfer operator. Cached 7 days.
